Welcome to Primary Care Surgical Services.
Our aim is to provide prompt and easy access to minor surgical procedures in the Primary Care setting, while ensuring that the service provided is safe and effective.
Advice and information will be given in all cases prior to any procedure being performed so that you will be in a position to fully understand if the procedure is required and what it entails, thus saving you from undergoing any unnecessary surgery.
Due to COVID-19, we are only operating out of our Kilkenny City location, but are still providing services for patients from any of the counties in and around the Southeast of Ireland, including Carlow, Waterford, Wexford and Tipperary.

A wide range of services are offered, both diagnostic and therapeutic, including advice and surgical care on all forms of minor surgical procedures. Examples of these procedures are lumps, bumps, moles, joint injections and in-growing toenails and certain types of skin cancers.
This is the only permanent form of contraception for men and is a procedure that can be carried out under local anaesthetic. It is safe and effective, and particularly ideal for men who have completed their families or do not wish to have any children.
